РусскийThe Maritime Technical School in Darlowo is the oldest of all 3 maritime technical schools in Poland. The technical school is located in the small port and tourist town of Darlowo. The technical school has its own ship, where students take practical classes. The training uses modern equipment and technology, simulators allow you to perform exercises on land. Students have the opportunity to develop their skills through additional activities in the field of computer science, sailing, music, sports. The uniform is provided for free.
During the study 2 foreign languages are studied (English and Spanish or German). Students take mandatory internships, during which they enter the ports of Denmark, Germany and Sweden. Those with high educational achievements are given the opportunity to practice in Spain and Portugal.

Functional responsibilities:
- performance of sea and port watches
- shipping planning
- shipping and maneuvering of the vessel by internal transport
- planning and carrying out transshipment operations and providing cargo on board

Technician - mechanic of ships
Obtaining a diploma of full secondary education; Diploma of Marine Navigation Technician; patent and seaman’s passport; course ITR for work on ships.
Obtaining a certificate of a minder.
Studying 2 foreign languages (English and Spanish or German).
Practice on ships, practical classes, additional courses.
Functional responsibilities:
- maintenance and repair of the main machinery, equipment and systems of ships
- engine watch: harbor and sea
- participation in rescue operations carried out by the ship’s crew
- control compliance with international conventions, maritime administrations, classification societies, protection environment and occupational safety and health.
The technician of hotel business
Obtaining a diploma of full secondary education; diploma of hotel business technician. Possibility of passing the ITR course for work on ships.
Studying 2 foreign languages (English and Spanish or German).
Practice on ships, practical classes, additional courses.
Functional responsibilities:
- use of legal provisions for hotel management
- fluent in a foreign language in professional vocabulary
- organization of work in the hotel complex
- application of principles of market economy, marketing principles and tools in hotel business
- organization of catering services and proper customer service
- organization and management of congresses, fairs, conventions and other events
- organization of tourist and recreational services
Logistics Technician
Obtaining a diploma of full secondary education; diploma of logistics technician. Possibility of passing the ITR course for work on ships.
Studying 2 foreign languages (English and Spanish or German).
Practice on ships, practical classes, additional courses.
Functional responsibilities:
- The student will receive wide knowledge in the field of logistics, transport, economics, planning, organization, warehousing and informatics.
- The student will be able to organize and monitor the flow of resources and information in the production, distribution and storage process, management of technical measures during the implementation of the transportation processes.
Good health. Students in the maritime direction: a navigational technician and a technician-mechanic of ships will have to undergo compulsory medical examination: an oculist, a narcologist, a laryngologist and others.
If there is a disease that does not allow you to choose one of the shipping directions, you can transfer to logistics or hotel business The average score of the certificate is preferably not less than 9.0
Darlowo is a famous spa town, located at the confluence of the Vepsha River in the Baltic Sea. Here there are sanatoriums, recreation centers, small boarding houses. The hostel is 5 minutes walk from the technical school. Rooms 2, 3 and 4-bed rooms.
On the territory of the hostel there is a dining room with the possibility of 3 meals a day (paid separately). In the hostel there are dining rooms and kitchens, where students can cook on their own.
Protection and guardianship of tutors in the hostel is carried out in the 24/7 mode.
